5/3/11 – Don’t Forget What You’ve Done

Lately I’ve been crossing my to do list items off with a highlighter instead of a pen.  By seeing exactly what I’ve accomplished during any given day, I feel a since of accomplishment and motivation for the next day. I never really forget the things that I’ve done but looking at my highlighted list at the end of the day is a nice visual representation of a productive day… give it a try.

5/2/11 – The Simple Life

When is comes down to it, it’s usually the simple things in our lives that bring us the most joy. Try and slow down today and realize those simple things that make you laugh and smile.

4/27/11 – The Power Of Thank You

Yesterday I thanked someone for being a great mentor & coach.  I really feel honored to be able to work alongside this person on a regular basis.  So this is a reminder – say, “thank you” to someone today.  Trust me, it will make their day (and yours).

4/25/11 – Understand Before You Take A Stand

If you don’t fully understand what you’re trying to stand up for, you will eventually run in to someone who will make you look silly (and eat crow).  A well informed stance is a strong one – educate yourself on the issue first!

4/20/11 – Auto DM = unfollow

The automatic direct message is one of the worst features of any social media platform (Farmville updates are a close second).  Auto DMing me on Twitter will result in an instant unfollow… even if the DM say, “You’re awesome and a really nice person”.  I learned this recently and I hope you agree.  Please don’t auto DM – make Twitter a better place.

4/17/11 – Never Bored

I’ve been under the weather this weekend and usually when I’m sick one of the worst parts is being bored. I realized that being bored just means you’re procrastinating. Even when I’m not 100% there’s always something to be done.
